But the next day after storing in air tight tin they were very soggy and fell apart.A bit disappointed 05 January 2020 3 star rating Although this recipe only calls for a very small amount of salt, I found it very overpowering in the finished bake. The cookies looked gorgeous and when you get a mouthful of blueberry they do taste lovely, however next time I think I will try this recipe without the salt and see what happens. With texture which is crunchy just like sugar this is a great ingredient to sprinkle of cereal, yoghurt, fruit or bake with for zero-calorie sweetness. 10g Billington's Unrefined Light Muscovado Sugar The unique warm honey colour and creamy fudge flavour, which is incomparable to refined light brown sugar makes it the finest light brown sugar in the world. Its rich depth of flavour means it a superior substitute in any recipe calling for brown sugar. This versatile sugar is perfect for chewy cookies, gingerbread, biscuits and a huge variety of savoury dishes too. Why do we recommend Billington's? Billington’s unrefined sugars are produced at source, with the aim of locking in, rather than refining out, the natural molasses of the sugar cane. It is this difference that gives Billington’s its unique richness, aroma, depth of flavour and natural colour that we love. 1 tbsp Honey 1 Free Range Medium Egg ½ tsp Nielsen-Massey Vanilla Extract 100g Plain White Flour ½ tsp Bicarbonate of Soda ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon ½ tsp Salt 120g Porridge Oats 125g Fresh Blueberries Utensils Large Mixing Bowl Wooden Spoon Baking Sheet Wire Cooling Rack
